For over two years, many many Verizon Business techs have stood shoulder to shoulder, demanding a dignified voice on the job. After many many months of fighting, struggle, and sacrifice, we are overjoyed to announce that Verizon Business techs from Virginia to Maine, including New Jersey and Pennsylvania, will be able to join the union!!!
In other words: YOU WON!!!
We are scheduling meetings to go over the details of what we all won, and to explain the process by which VzB techs in these states can join the union.
For VzB techs in NYC, we will be meeting at Local 1101 Headquarters, at 275 7th Ave, THIS WED at 5:30 PM. 17th floor.
For Vzb techs in other locations, there will be meetings scheduled soon.
It is important that you come to these meetings to learn all the facts!
Congratulations again. Together, the 65,000 "core" Verizon members and the 600 VZB techs did not just Tear Down the Wall -- we demolished it from Virginia to Maine!
